2nd RI-SJSS Science & Cultural Exchange Collaboration Project (2016)

This Project has been accorded the status of an Official Event of SJ50

..the first two non-tertiary schools to collaborate in 2016 on Education & Student Exchange.

History has it that..
 
In late 2013, Raffles Institution approached Singapore Japanese Secondary School to discuss the possibility of mutual sharing of Lower Secondary Science students' projects on 'Waste Management', which was a group-based research topic for all Year 2 students (14-year olds) at RI.
 
The story of a friendship between two secondary schools in Singapore thus unfolds...

Welcome to Raffles Institution - Singapore Japanese Secondary School 2nd Collaboration Project on Lower Secondary Science and cultural sharing.

Friendship between RI and SJSS

They were flanked by RI Head Science 1 Mr Joseph Chong and SJSS English Coordinator Ms Masami Kimura.
